Ghidini

The FACTORY Ghidini Pietro Bosco, has had a long history in the manufacture of handles and components since 1929. The Trompia valley, a region at the foot of the mountains where the streams easily gave up thier hydraulic energy, saw the rapid development of many workshops which wre wngaged in the typical activities in the support of a mountainous agricultural region.

The active tradition between craft and agriculture has become part of the history of the firm. Ghidini is one the most typical name in the valley and also of the small farm in the locality of Bosco, where a second activity was carried out and from where Pietro Ghidini takes his nick-name for which he has become famous.

In 1929 Pietro Ghidini, know as “Bosco” began the first production workshop of brass handles nad cutlery, and slowly but surely with the growth of the family grew to the size of a modern industry.

1950 saw the entrance into the factory oh his sons, bringing first of all the creation of a new factory and secondly the start of the constant process of the technical innovation which distinguishes the vast catalogue of the firm, in which one can be sure of finding handles and components in brass, aluminium, zinc alloy, nylon and iron.

The firm is now situated in Brozzo Val Trompia in a new plant occupying 18,000 m.sq. and also a further four factories in the surronding areas. Today Ghidini Pietro Bosco, with the presence in the firm of the fourth generation, reconfirms the original philosophy focoused on constant innovation with the right match of quality and price, together making a new productive organisation united under the trademarks of Ghidini.
